Well its been a while since the last time I wrote a blog, life's been quite difficult on my end but glad it is about to end now(only one final exam left, 4 days from now). The tabs system for Mys v1.3.0 has been completed and is applied on user profile. In future I plan to improve the codes so that users can create tabbed interface for any pages with ease. The screenshots on how it works with user profiles are shown below. You may want to take a look at what the new user profile looks like in Mys v1.3.0:

So what happens to Mys v1.3.0 as a whole?
Well, the main new feature itemshop was already completed, and it should come out in recent future. The projected release date for the first beta version of Mys v1.3.0 is Mid or late January. The following features are planned:
1. Items and Itemshop: Completed
2. User Profile Redesign: Completed
3. Security Improvement: 50%
4. New Admin Control Panel interface: Completed
5. WYSIWYG Text Editor: Completed
6. Adoptable Forum Engine: 80%
7. Customizable Drop Down Navtabs: 75%
8. Old features enhancement(trade, breeding, promo code and maybe plugin): 25%
*9. Admin Control Panel Overhaul: 25%
*10. Script optimization and database redesign: 25%
* The feature 9 and 10 may not be 100% completed in Mys v1.3.0 release, and their development shall continue throughout the course of Mys v1.3.x series and even Mys v1.4.x.
And what are the plans after Mys v1.3.0 release?
The development shall continue of course, the admin control panel and script optimization will most likely to proceed. There is technically no end to the concept of script optimization. Starting from Mys v1.3.x, users will see more OOP codes in this script. The transition from procedural to complete OOP will take a while, but you will most likely to see OOP in my addons/mods for Mys v1.3.x and v1.4.x at least. More javascript and Ajax elements will be present in future development too, and in fact, the tab system uses Ajax.
The main focus of Mys v1.3.x's development will be on the improvement of itemshop and new features added in Mys v1.3.0. Since adoptables stats system(such as hp, atk, def, speed and so on) is planned for Mys v1.4.0, I will most likely be experimenting a public and user-friendly stats engine. A customized adoptables stats engine is easy, but a public stats engine is difficult considering each user has his/her preference towards the mechanism of adoptables stats. I will try to find out a way to make it as customizable as possible.
The goal of future development is to make this script more professional while user-friendly, achieving both at the same time is definitely no easy task but worth attempting. Alright, so much for today's blog and we will witness what will happen for Mys v1.3.x and v1.4.x in future.
