Well many of you may be wondering what I've been doing lately. Life sure can get quite difficult at times, and for me the greatest challenge after enrolling in my graduate school was to find an apartment. It was never an issue for undergraduate students, but for Masters/PHD's this can get quite frustrating as the school is no longer reserving dorms for you. I spent almost 10 days at Hotel, a huge amount of wasted money... I am just glad it is all settled now. The house is at a great location 0.5 miles away from Cornell University, although I still need to drive my car to malls far away from here.
So with the fundamental issue settled, I will be working on getting a cable/wire-less internet from Time Warner next. My apartment can receive weak signal from Cornell's WIFI, but it is moderately slow and unstable(Not truly an on-campus apartment if you ask me). Hopefully this wont take long to set up, since it is really inconvenient to work on this project with crappy internet. Oh wait a sec my home still needs a TV, an Air conditioner, a Lump and more. Guess this is gonna be fun?
The good news is, well, I am finally enrolled in a true programming class. I've been learning PHP and other programming languages all by myself for the last few years, could I've been way better than who I am now with an actual class in a national university? Maybe, but unfortunately my undergraduate school has poor Computer Science Department/Courses so I had little choice anyway. I guess I will make use of this rare opportunity to further improve my skills at programming. It may not be teaching PHP, but some concepts and practices in programing languages are no different from one to another. One of these is OOP, whose awesomeness has yet to be fully realized by PHP communities. You know what? In a perfect script, everything is an object.
