It took me months to finally release Mys v1.3.2, I hope you all enjoy this. For me, life continues as it should. I will spend the next 3-4 days on the forum trying to find out if there's anything about Mys v1.3.2 quickly, such as bugs that prevent script from running. I havent found any, but thats just me.

I will be having my finals and term projects due in the next week and two, and then its winter vacation. It seems that theres plenty of time for me to make use of. Of course I still have to study and probably work on my engineering design project, but since I do not have classes there wont be a shortage of time for me to work on this script.

The development of Mys v1.3.3 should proceed quickly, and I do not expect it will take too long. Probably 5-6 weeks from now if you ask me unless something unexpected happens.

Not all features for Mys v1.3.3 have been pre-determined, but there are a few you can expect. One of them is the modular template/page system. The idea is that, well, everything on a page is a 'module' such as sidebar and dropdown menu, it can be fully customized in ACP. For instance, admins can manage the content, position and visibility of sidebars and its subcontents. I am not sure how many modules will be available in Mys v1.3.3, but you can expect a few. The important task is to establish a modular system so that its easy to extend the functionality.

Another feature I have in mind is the overhaul of breeding system. The one we currently have is quite simple to use, but apparently lacks some advanced functionality people want. The new breeding system will allow admins to set up restriction such as species limit and total number of offsprings a parent pet can have. The chance that the baby adoptables assume the type of their mothers and fathers do not have to 50/50, admins can decide which species is more 'dominant' on this aspect. It will even be possible to produce species different from both of its parents'. With this new system, it will be totally possible to breed a horse with a donkey to get a mule, and the mule cannot breed.

Of course the redesign of user and adoptables system in OOP will continue, although I have no idea how established a system can be accomplished by Mys v1.3.3's release. At least, I do not expect dramatic changes in the database objects and queries. This is a good news for Addons/Mods, since what is compatible with Mys v1.3.2 is likely to work with Mys v1.3.3.

Other than Mys v1.3.3, I will officially begin the development cycle of Mys v1.4.0, the next major release. This means that I will begin working on the design of ACP for Mys v1.4.0, as you will see soon in a thread about ACP overhaul project. It will not be just a change in layout, the functionality will improve drastically. It is also time to meditate what new features will be available by Mys v1.4.x. Several features are already pre-determined at this point, they are Stats System, Clan System, ACP Overhaul, Improved Installation Wizard, and the MVC structure vital to coders. More details of Mys v1.4.0 will be revealed from time to time, just follow us on the updates.

Occasionally I will take a break to work on some Mods/Addons for Mys v1.3.x. I have decided to do a simple 'item random drop' mod for Mys v1.3.2 soon, which can happen when user adopts/clicks/breeds pets, or visits a certain page. I plan to release the evolution system before Mys v1.3.3 comes out. I also have other ideas in mind, such as alchemy system(item mixing), auction system(users bidding), and perhaps advanced mybb forum integration. But of course, these wont stand in the way of the development of official script. If I get somewhat busy in winter break, I will take priority on Mys v1.3.3's development.

So thats what I have to write so far, I will rest a bit and embrace a brand new day. Hope you all enjoyed Thanksgiving.
