Hello there, I'm Ezzy and I used to be staff in MyAdopts, although I'm sad to say I wasn't kicking around the forums in its death throes due to personal issues, which I'd rather not discuss, mostly because the timeline is pretty jumbled in my head.

I'm working on a new site which is a pretty ambitious project, and has been in the works for 3 years, since I was 16-ish. I think. Again, my memory is terrible. If you were hanging around MyAdopts when I was active, you might remember it, but it's changed a lot. Yes, I'm aware this makes it sound like vaporware, but shhh.

I've decided to go with Mysidia for it, although I have to say I'm not that good at programming, as I'm mostly an artist and writer, so all the help I could get would be really appreciated.

I don't want to talk about my project a lot, mostly because it's always changing and I'm still unsure of what features I can actually do, especially since I haven't actually used Mysidia before. For now, I'm calling it Project Cobalt, and the basics that will definitely be a part of it are:

-Very story driven, with a driving plot and rich mythology, along with (hopefully) likeable NPCs
-At least 50 adoptables at launch, with more to come with the boosters
-Very exploring heavy
-At least 3 classes of player (hopefully?) that focus on different things, thus insuring you play the way you want to
-Comics
-As many other features as I can shove in

What can I say, I'm an over achiever, and like I mentioned, I'm not exactly new to adoptables.

Nice to meet you, or, see you again ;)

(For the record, I'm not looking for staff at the moment, or planning to set up the website now, although I would like some tips as I'm a little rusty and I've never used Mysidia before)

Welcome! ;3 Sounds like your project is similar in size to mine (Purrfected Grimalkin). Can't wait to see previews in the Buzz forum.

Hopefully the Mysidia script isn't that hard to adjust to, Hoffie has made lots of changes from the old Rusnak Web script (been there done that, wow it's been a ride), but if there are issues we usually work together to figure them out. ;3

Enjoy the forums!

Hello there! Welcome! :D

Hehe, I'm more of a coder than a spriter myself, so I know how that feels, having an essential side still in mind because you don't know exactly how to transport it to the real world xD Your ideas sound really nice and having 50 adoptables at launch sounds exciting xD I will follow all your updates :meow:

Ezzy! Ezzy! Ezzy! Ezzy! Ezzy! Ezzy! Ezzy! Ezzy!

Ezzy! I have not heard from you in ages, it's wonderful to know you're still, well, alive! And also to see you on Mysidia. I'm so glad to see more of my MA buddies moving over here!

Err, and this is Pero (Perocore), in case you weren't aware XD

Anyways, welcome to Mysidia! It's wonderful to have you here!

Welcome to Mysidia Adoptables, its always great to see new comers starting to pay attention/using this script.

You can take a preview of a list of features available on Mysidia Adoptables from the feature list url, or try it out with our demo site:

Looks to me that your site will need some kind of exploration. For now there is no built-in exploration system that you can play with in ACP, but you can create a HTML-based exploration system yourself easily. Tequila sure knows how to accomplish this, talk to her if you need any advices.
