HOF can you update the mods to make the script good for pokemon? And do you still run your Pokemon site? mainly I want it to not say blastoise the squirtle. lol that is weird and a problem on my site.

Well I do not run Pokemon sites anymore, they take a long time too maintain and can easily go wrong if you are inactive just for a few days. I am not a babysitter, I may appear to be online for 24 hours at times but on other occasions you do not find me at all.

Sure I will update that Mod, but not right now. The fact is that the script is moving towards object-oriented programming paradigm, which will require certain core script to be re-written throughout the course of Mys v1.3.x's lifetime. I have not created objects for adoptables system yet, although for Mys v1.3.2 I am doing it for user system so chances are I will be releasing some Mods associated with users and usergroups soon.

okay what i ended up doing is calling the pokemon by their type. So you adopt a water type. then you can name it squirtle so it says squirtle the water type. looks better and this will work thanks.

I see. I understand that the term 'type' is somewhat confusing with this script if you run a pokemon adoptables site. In fact I plan to rename that property as 'species' since the term type itself is confusing and I do not want to use it for any purposes, but guess it wont be done until Mys v1.4.0.

If you build a pokemon site, you may consider the adoptables class as pokemon's egg group, it works out nicely. The script already supports multiple adoptables classes at this point, which is a bonus.

For pokemon types, I will design an elements system with Mys v1.4.x(though not in the initial release of v1.4.0). The elements system will incorporate basic elements fire, water, wind, earth, holy, dark and so on. Each element is strong/neutral/weak/noneffective against another, which can be defined easily. It should be easy to modify this into a pokemon types system, for intermediate skilled programmers of course.
