The bbcode for the dragon I made does not work. It just shows blank, then name, then level me up.

It does show on the site.

When I went to "http://www.adoptables.co.cc/get.php?id=2" it says:
"The image “http://www.adoptables.co.cc/get.php?id=2” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors."

All the dragon images are in: http://www.adoptables.co.cc/images/dragon/

Please Help.

if I click on www.adoptables.co.cc - i can see the egg :)

nice one ... so I think you don't need my help by painting eggs and so...

That's very odd that you would get that error. What I can think is try saving the images again in a graphics program such as Photoshop or Gimp. Another issue could have been that the FTP upload of the images messed them up somewhat, although they appear to show fine when visited directly. Maybe try re-saving and re-uploading and see if the problem is solved.

Also, if you make an adoptable with .gif or .jpg images does it work fine? I'm wondering if it just doesn't like the .png format.

Well I had to go in to the database to change the image link because it was wrong. Could that of caused it?

If you go to the get.php file directly with the adoptable id can you see the images or do you get the "The image cannot be displayed, because it contains errors." message?

Have you tried re-saving the images in a graphics program and re-uploading them?

@ BMR

I can see the pics directly on the page, but not in the forum :(

Ok, that is odd. By chance, does your host force ads on your account?

yes, there are ads on...

thats the reason??????? how bad

That probably is the reason then. The get.php page is supposed to trick your browser into thinking what's coming out is an image file. Your host sees the file as a PHP file so I bet they force the ads on that page. Thus, the browser is expecting an image but gets an image plus the html ad code and doesn't know what to do with it, so it does really nothing.

That's probably what's happening. See if you can get ads disabled, even just for that one file.

I've experienced this problem before. Make sure that your web server is not on any type of safe mode, extra safety enabled, etc... My Dreamhost Private server gave me exactly the same errors before. As for not displaying on forums, it's a good chance that it's the type of forum you're trying to place it on. By default, Invision Power Board v2.5.x and above enable an extra layer of web security which must be disabled in order to display dynamic images. (i.e. the get.php?id=### instead of a ###.png or ###.gif) I'm not sure if Vbulliten does this as well, but it might. However, free alternatives, the BB series, do work just fine with these images by default if the server has no extra layers of security. Check those two things, and let me know if problems persist. =D
