Hi,

I am trying to get my site XHTML compliant however there is only 21 errors, how and where do I find these errors?

http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.eaglelegend.com%2F&charset=(detect+automatically)&doctype=Inline&group=0&st=1&user-agent=W3C_Validator%2F1.654

My site is www.eaglelegend.com.

Any help would be much appreciated! :)

Mark

When you scroll down,it shows where the error is and what does it look like, for example,-

Line 30, Column 6: document type does not allow element "b" here; assuming missing "li" start-tag

<b><u>Member Login:</u></b><br />

Sorry if it doesn't help you too much,I am still new here and can't do much to help... XO

Some are in functions.php in the sidebar() function. I would not advise messing with these though. Sorry, but I don't really know much about XHTML formatting. :(

I see ;), well I have currently changed all the <br> to <br /> and <img src=''> to <img src='' /> which has significantly corrected some compatability issues, however there is only 21 errors to find now LOL

OH btw brandon, I see that the server is allowing me on today... very nice of it LOL!

Yeah, I have no idea why the server would have blocked you. The firewall is tricky sometimes though. Even I got locked out once for a few hours. :)

LOL aww, well, it seemed to blocked me for days on end, its ok now, and its great to be back - and alots changed since LOL

How are you doing yourself Bran? I like your new adopt a adoptable site thing btw, not much to it, but yeah, will you be offering the code to that once you have finnished or not?

The code for that, I won't be offering it right away but maybe at a later date for a price. :)

It's HIGHLY customized though. I've got a custom CMS I built, plus the adoptables script, plus MyBB all integrated to work together. :)

Well, the multi script would be very expensive and would not be something included with a standard Premium Membership.

Right now I just want to try it out by myself but depending on how well my site does I may or may not release the multi-script.

A lot of things are custom on it though and it would need some polishing to get to a state where someone could install it, because most things on the back end are just utilitarian right now. :)

Fair enough :D you do very good strong code, I must admit, however as you say, you do lack on your XHTML skills, but wait, so dont I LOL, they claim by having XHTML your site would be viewable by near enough every web browser on the internet... I dont know if that is the case or not in real life, however I'd rather have 21 errors than 500 errors LOL
