Editing Sidebar

OK, I've looked everywhere for how I found help before but couldn't find them in my posts T-T On my previous site, it looked like this:

I copied a lot of the CSS over (as I was happy with the layout of it, just I'm going to be changing a few things to fit my new idea)

It now looks like this (just copied everything literally over the last few hours, so this is no where near what the finished product will look like XD):

Also, I take no credit for the background image. It isn't mine. I literally am only using it to see how the wrapper and body looks, and menu, while I get my own prepared. That image won't be used! ^_^

What files do you have to edit to get the sidebar looking like the YC Adopts one? XD I tried copying them over but it doesn't work :/ It just looks like that ^

I'm at a bit of a loss and getting a little frustrated XD So I'm taking a break while I perhaps get some art prepared XD

OK, I figured it out! XD Duh... before I had enabled smarty on my site, whereas as this is a new one I had to enable it again to use the smarty codes... so yeah... I fixed it XD If anyone is curious, use this thread: http://www.mysidiaadoptables.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4543
