Adoptable IDs

This may be a really dumb question, but how do I find the ID of an adoptable to use in the Promocodes section? I can't find it anywhere.

When you visit My adopts section, click on your adoptable and the ID will appear at the end of the url.

Thank you. Is there no way to give a species egg? Like not a specific adopt that's already been adopted. Or will this give another copy of the same species?

Unless you look into the mysql database to see the number, I'm not aware of another area that shows it.
If you've not deleted any adopts, then just count them on your list for example if I wanted to give the highlighed adopt (labs) it would be adopt 5 because it's 5th on the list.
