ACP image upload vs Manual upload

I'm on the fence about using the image upload I find it to be messy and confusing to mange with having everything dumped in one place. I kind of just skipped it and do it manually.

What do you guys think?

I really don't like how it's set up, either. It's just the backend so I'm just dealing with it for now, but it's on the list of features I plan to make for myself eventually -- an overhaul of the item and pet creation areas where image uploading is done all at the same time.
