Its been about 4 months since the release of Mys v1.3.5. I've been caught up in some problems that kept me busy during the last few months but things are slowly getting better. I will be developing Mys v1.3.6 as planned, starting with the PHP 7/8 compatibility update. There is a good chance old Addons/Mods will not work with Mys v1.3.6, and I will be making them compatible with the new version after it is released.

Also the forum will be upgraded to Xenforo 2.2 in April. This is a change I'll have to make since VB 3.8 is way too old, and will not be updated to work with future PHP versions. Some of you've also reported that long post seems to be not working, for some reason. These problems will all go away once we migrate to Xenforo. Note XF doesnt have blogs and project tools(for bug tracker), so I will find other ways for these things to work on the new forum.

I am excited for the next release and awaiting php7/8 support!! Right now my local environment only supports php 7 or 8 so I am super excited to be able to try the new script out. If you need any help with bug testing or anything I'd be happy to volunteer.

Horray! Great news!

Glad you like it, you may check the latest blog entries to find out more about the new version. The Mys v1.3.6 beta is ready now, though I dont recommend using it on production/live site until it goes to RC at least. The official stable release is scheduled to be the last week of August.
