I know many of you wonder how to backup your database file for Mysidia Adoptables, and to restore it when you need to bring it back to an older timeline. This is very easy if you know how to play with PHPMyAdmin, and I will explain it step by step here:

First of all you need to log into Cpanel on your website. Enter your website's domain url, append it with /cpanel. If you use MysidiaHost, for instance, it should look like:
http://yoursite.mysidiahost.com/cpanel.

The pattern should be the same for other webhosts too, by appending /cpanel to the end of your domain url. You will be prompted to enter username and password, which you should find from the email you receive upon registering on your webhost.

Second, find PHPMyadmin and click the icon. If you have a hard time finding where it is, it is the third item in section 'Databases'. Below is a screenshot for phpMyAdmin icon in cpanel:

And then, you will be in PHPMyadmin, find your adoptables site database. For mysidia host, it should be yoursitename_mysidia. For other webhosts, you should remember the name of your database. Once you have selected the database, go to the 'Export' tab, click the 'Go' button, and finally you have downloaded a backup of your database.

To restore the backup in future, all you need is to click the 'Import' tab in PHPMyAdmin for the database you want to restore. Its easy and straightforward. If you have any further questions regarding how to do this, please post in this thread and I will reply whenever I get a chance.
