When I tried adding my first adopt to the adopt shop nothing I did seemed to work on putting an adoptable in there. I searched the forums and had a difficult time finding out what I needed to do to fix it and after hours of searching I found enough topics and pieced them together to fix the issue and wanted to share so it's all in one location.
- You need to make sure you create an item shop before the adopt shop because there is a glitch in the Mysidia script.
- After you make your shops you need to make your adoptable in the Admin CP and set its Shop Settings to the correct adopt shop.
- Next, go to your Owned Adoptables, still in your Admin CP and Give Adopt to User. This assigns your adopt to the shop if you set it's Owner to the name of your adopt shop.
- Go to your adoptable you made in your Admin CP and look at what its ID is and take note of it because the last couple steps is you needing to go into your Admin PHP database.
- Expand the Mysidia structure and look for:
Adopts_Adoptables
and
Adopts_Adoptables_Conditions
you want to change the adoptable's IDs here if they do not match what you noted from the Admin CP.
This fixed things for me :] I wish I knew PHP and what not, because I feel like I could of came up with a real fix but this is the best I've got. I feel like the adopt shop should work easily like the items does and the pound, but it doesn't. At least this is a fix, even if it's beating around a few bushes lol. Hope this helps someone, because I was looking for a really long time.
